This is the pinnacle of the Turbo Z31 cars. This car is one of those "diamonds in the rough" that everyone mistakes for far newer. It is also the only year ( aside from the 84 50th Anniv. ) that these wheels were put on as well as the flared fenders and rocker moldings. It is one of the most original and unmodified Z's around ( with the exception of the tires, battery, and wires ). The 77000 miles have been so softly driven you would mistake this car for around 20-30000 miles.. no joke.Take it to a car show and you will agree with my statement. This is awesome 2 OWNER 300 with the 5 speed / digital / leather / electronic package ( eq stereo system and steering wheel controls ), t-tops, that is 100% unmodified original. It comes from our non-smoking home. It has been meticulously cared for, never left outside in the rain, or driven in inclement weather. For a Nissan purist, it is definitely a great piece of history. Be the envy of other 300 owners when you pull up at Nissan shows or enjoy it on Sundays. I have the orig. window sticker, built sheet, all dealer paperwork, and booklets. The Cherry Red paint shines like it was still 1986. There is no body damage or accidents, and it was Ziebarted when new. All of the moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, roof panels, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in super condition. The wheels have no abuse and the tires have are almost new. It drives straight down the road. Never run through an automatic car wash and always hand washed / waxed are a great part as to why it still looks so fabulous. The exterior is a solid 9.75 / 10. On the inside, the Charcoal / Gray interior still looks, feels, and smells like new. As you can see in the pics, the seats have always been covered and the flooring is crisp. The door panels, t-top bags, sun shields, dash, center console, faceplates, etc. are original and not marked. All of the interior buttons / switches - power windows, door locks, cruise, hatch release, fuel door, and even the clock keeps perfect time. It still has the orig. stereo / orig. speakers. The spare tire compartment still has the orig. spare - never on the ground, inflator cannister, jack, bolts are still in place. The interior is a 9.8 / 10. Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as you would expect a "well-oiled" machine would. All of the servicing is up to date - fuel injector recall, a/c, belts, timing belt, hoses, fluids all changed ( synthetic ) / maintained at the proper intervals, Timing belt and tune up were done at 72000. The Turbo engine spools out without issue, the 5 speed engages softly, and it performs on all levels. Of course, The a/c is blistering cold and the brakes have plenty of pad left. All of the other mechanical functions are point on.
