About This 1967 Pontiac FirebirdThis particular low mileage (67k) Firebird came with a V8 engine from the factory, and an automatic transmission. It has since been professionally converted to a 4 speed transmission which shifts absolutely flawlessly! The V8 engine sounds healthy and strong, with a recent tune from Corvette Alley in Anacortes, WA where they went through the car and the owner put $5000 taking an already very nice car and making it just superb! Engine pulls well throughout the RPM range, and is coupled with a Holley Street Dominator intake manifold and Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. The transmission, as we mentioned, is tight and shifts great with a Hurst shifter and custom console. The brakes do not pull side to side and the car tracks down the street perfectly straight. This is a very well sorted classic, which sets it apart from lesser Firebirds.
The car has been restored and converted to a custom dark red/maroon exterior and a fully restored black vinyl interior. H.O. Vinyl decals. The original console and steering wheel are also included with the car. The car looks great and has NO RUST anywhere. The undercarriage is beautiful and hides nothing. Stainless steel exhaust throughout with headers and Magna-Flow mufflers- this car sounds awesome! Full size spare to match the custom wheels. Tires and wheels are outstanding with no nicks or scratches and tires like new.
Overall, an outstanding machine, a HO replica with even better performance!
