Overall

I've never understood most people's fascination with restored automobiles. In every collecting hobby, whether it's furniture, coins, stamps, firearms, artwork or memorabilia, Originality is the most important aspect. Patina (overall original condition) is probably the first criteria followed closely by Provenance (documented owner history) and Paperwork (original sales contracts, factory documentation, etc.). Purchased new in 1969 from Jack Sommer Chevrolet in Wadsworth, Ohio.

A01 Soft-Ray Tinted Glass

This is a fairly rare combination of options. All of which are desirable individually but together make this a really Great Looking and Driving Corvette!

The Tank Sticker was beautifully preserved and simply covered by a light layer of dirt which brushed away easily. In keeping with Bloomington Gold Recommendations, I photo-documented the process, covered the sticker to further preserve it and left in place.

Original Factory Stampings for the Engine, Transmission, Differential, Carburetor, Trim Tag, etc. This Corvette has its Complete Original "Born-With" Drive-train and it all runs and operates beautifully.

It still wears its original springs and shocks. Virtually every piece of paper tape is still in place from the factory to hold the body bushings.
