One owner, low-mileage mint example of an ultra-rare U.S. delivery 1967 Toyota 2000GT.
Of the 351 cars made, only 84 were left hand drive, of which only 62 came into the U.S.A. between 1967-70. Today less than 40 of those are known to still exist, making this one of the rarest collector vehicles in the world.
This particular 2000GT was sold new by the Toyota dealer in St. Louis, MO to its only registered owner who took exceptional care of the car. After many years of storage it was recently treated to a meticulous detailing and freshening back to its original showroom condition by marque specialist Maine Line Exotics of Biddeford, Maine which included an engine rebuild, new stainless steel mufflers, recovering of the seats in the original-style pattern and material, and refininishing of the center console and glove box wood. The car is as delivered with its original matching-numbers engine and is in pristine condition for either display or grand touring.
Sold with its original books, manuals, tools, and documentation. The rarest of the rare, a one-owner completely correct and ready to enjoy example, car #88 is the finest example 2000GT to be offered in the marketplace.
