Only 84,419 actual miles. An older driver-quality restoration that still shows well and drives excellent. After receiving an extensive redo in the late 80's, this car was garaged and driven only during summer months. The paint remains shiny, and other than a few bubbling areas it's still presentable. The black leather interior looks great. The top was replaced during a late 1980's restoration (still in good shape), but the headliner is the original, complete with genuine horse-hair insulation. My extremely talented technician just completed an extensive top-end rebuild and tune of the original engine, including freshly-machined original heads, rebuilt carburetors, rebuilt distributor, and more (please see his attached list of work completed below). The engine runs crisp and strong. Continental tires are likewise brand-new. This car is ready to be driven and enjoyed as it is. Later, it's an authentic starting piece for the type of high-end body and paint restoration this rare car deserves. My technician Jon's forwarded list of work completed during the past 30 days: 1. "Pulled engine, heads and barrels, pistons and barrels were replaced recently, performed complete valve job, honed barrels, replaced head and barrels seals." 2. "Cleaned out carburetors, and replaced gaskets." 3. "Replaced all fuel lines." 4. "Cleaned heater boxes, replaced cables, seals and rods." 5. "Replaced generator belt." 6. "Changed oil and filter." 7. "Tuned engine, replaced spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor and new wire set." 8. "Sent distributor out to be professionally rebuilt."
