This prepreg carbon fiber bumper was engineered to provide more cooling to the front of the Gallardo, as well as incorporate a small splitter to increase downforce. The utmost attention to detail was utilized in fabricating this front bumper. Aerodynamic principles were applied to all areas of the bumper’s redesign. One small but significant design elements is the side vent incorporated into the bumper. It was made so that the hot air exiting the radiators is given a higher velocity exit, increasing the radiators’ efficiency. We extended the length of the nose of the bumper for an improved look and to increase the effect of the integrated front splitter. The design utilizes prepreg carbon cloth as well as reinforced honeycomb layers to ensure the utmost in rigidity, strength and lightness. Tecnocraft Aerodynamic Underbody Panels continue to reinforce aerodynamics beneath the Lamborghini Gallardo. Underbody panels are a highly overlooked component in improving airflow velocity - our pre-preg dry carbon underbody panels also provide an 80% weight reduction to factory injection molded plastic, and incorporate much improved venturi channels toward the rear of the vehicle. Developed in two parts; a front section supporting the Tecnocraft GT Front Splitter, and a mid-section to continue airflow characteristics to the Tecnocraft Rear Diffuser. Airflow dynamics and intake efficiency are greatly improved over the factory Lamborghini Gallardo intake airboxes with the installation of our complete dry carbon fiber intake system. Furthermore, we referenced the mantra of 'form and function' and incorporated an organic, fluid-composite design that improves the audible characteristics, visual aesthetics and overall horsepower of the Lamborghini Gallardo V10. To complete your purchase of additional Tecnocraft Lamborghini Gallardo products, our design team further refines the visual appeal of the engine bay by creating complementary dry carbon OEM replacement engine compartment covers. Made with pre-preg dry carbon fiber, these compartment covers help to maximally decrease engine hatch weight and ensure a theme of dry carbon commonality within the Lamborghini Gallardo V10 powerplant. Another invaluable and extremely noticeable upgrade to the Lamborghini Gallardo front end would be the addition of the Tecnocraft pre-preg Dry Carbon Fiber Hood. As a perfect complement to the Dry Carbon Fiber Glass Engine Hatch, and also weighing in at ~10lbs, our Dry Carbon Fiber Hood retains all factory Lamborghini Gallardo mounting hardware. One of the most functional and extremely noticeable upgrades to the Gallardo weighs in at just under 10lbs without factory Lamborghini Gallardo glass. With weight reduction in mind, performing a dry carbon conversion of one of the heaviest and intricate parts of the Gallardo was not an easy task, but rather, a mandatory one by our standards. Aerodynamic principles, specifically the Italian Bernoulli Effect, mandate that while a vehicle is in motion, air molecules are traveling above and below but create differences in air pressure that can negatively provide lift to a car. Tecnocraft developed dry carbon GT Front Splitter's effectively channel incoming air naturally upwards and over an already aerodynamic Lamborghini Gallardo, increasing air molecule velocity above to combat a high-pressure lift environment below. Natural Lamborghini Gallardo design cues were accentuated in the development of the Tecnocraft GT Front Splitter while also providing much needed aerodynamic performance for confident spirited driving. Also compatible with both the Tecnocraft dry carbon Aerodynamic Underbody Panels and Tecnocraft GT Front Splitter for the Lamborghini Gallardo. Balanced form and function in a 100% Dry Carbon GT Wing. To improve downforce during spirited drives, our designers have taken their racing fabrication experiences into consideration and produced a lightweight, durable wing assembly to complement other Tecnocraft aerodynamic upgrades to the Lamborghini Gallardo. With a dry-carbon hollow core design and integrated gurney flap, this adjustable GT Wing can keep the Gallardo planted at any speed. As high velocity air moves from front to rear, vehicle aerodynamics become increasingly important in terms of road stability. Our honeycomb reinforced dry carbon rear diffuser for the Lamborghini Gallardo helps to channel high velocity air from underneath the vehicle into smoother flowing venturi channels, improving aerodynamics at high speeds, and complementing any additional aerodynamic wings. With the ultra-lightweight benefits of pre-preg dry carbon fiber our rear diffuser is designed to replace the factory rear diffuser, upgrade rear aesthetics, and optimally perform in combination with both the Tecnocraft dry carbon Aerodynamic Underbody Panels and Tecnocraft GT Front Splitter for the Lamborghini Gallardo.
