Stunning low-mileage, numbers-matching Boss 302 with documented ownership history .

The Calypso Coral paint is the factory original. The paint has terrific color and shine, and it’s hard to believe that it is over 40 years old. The body does have some very minor chips and parking lot dings visible upon close inspection, presumably acquired in its first few years of life. The only parts of the car that have been repainted are the front and rear valance panels, the underside of the hood, and the engine compartment.

The interior is factory original as well, save for the driver’s seat cover which was professionally replaced. The Hurst shifter is not original for 1969 but adds to the driving experience.

The car runs very strong, idles well, starts easily, and has a terrific exhaust note, not loud but deep and authoritative. Between the slightly lopey idle and rich exhaust note, the car gets looks of appreciation wherever it is driven. It came factory equipped with a wide-ratio four speed manual transmission and 3.91:1 ring and pinion with Trac-Loc limited slip differential.

The car has been in the loving possession of its current (and fourth) owner for the past 26 years, where it has been in storage and driven approximately 2,000 pampered miles during that time. The car was originally sold in Oklahoma City, OK and its first three owners were in the Oklahoma City area. Mileage history has been verified through Oklahoma yearly registration receipts which the seller has on hand and will convey to the buyer. An interesting piece of mileage history is a service station sticker on the driver’s door dated 1-19-73 with mileage at 24,865, as seen in the photo gallery. Current mileage is 28,003.

Modifications made by previous owners include deletion of smog pump, air cleaner, exhaust manifolds, and rev limiter. The engine block is numbers-matching to the car’s VIN but the heads are from a ’70 model Boss 302.

Car is shod with Michelin Pilot high performance radials on original 15x7 Magnum 500 wheels, all in excellent condition. The original space saver tire and jack are in the trunk.
