1987 Volvo 240 Turbo Intercooler - Freshly Restored

I have been restoring classic Volvos for 20 years. This 240 was my pet project. It was originally purchased by a Canadian Diplomat in Sweden and driven for several months in Europe before being shipped to North America. I purchased the car in 1999 with the intention of creating a very unique show car as the chassis and interior were flawless and the history made it somewhat interesting and unusual. (Included with the car is the original bill of sale, vehicle title and shipping documents from Goteborg Sweden, as well as the original diplomatic license plate and all service records from the day it left the factory).

I went to great lengths to replicate factory methods and practices during restoration. My standards were significantly higher than original and I spared no expense or effort on the mechanical or aesthetic. See photos and specifications for details. When I restored the car it had 184400 km (112K miles) on the odometer. After restoration was complete I reset the odometer and it now shows 002382km.

The only accident damage the vehicle has ever sustained was a parking lot rub on the passenger side door. There was no paint damage and the small crease was removed by a master dent technician who does a fantastic job.
