1972 Opel GT Custom

This car is a driver- just hop in and enjoy! It gets attention everywhere we go, including car shows and cruises.

It looks sharp with the custom paint in Electric Blue Pearl with a ghost competition stripe. A few custom body work items were done including shaving the antenna and the rear body trim. We upgraded to 16" XR wheels with Falken 205/40 tires. The interior is custom from headliner to carpet with black vinyl and black suede inserts. Seats have blue stitching and Opel logo embroidered on headrests. Side panels were slightly modified for a better look. Includes a custom sound system with an Alpine CD head unit, infinity and kicker speakers, custom kick panel, and rear speaker installed.

Still has the factory 1.9 litre engine and automatic transmission, but upgraded to a Weber carb, Crane electronic ignition, and custom exhaust. The factory air components have been removed, but are included with the car for you to reinstall if desired. Mechanicals gone through 2 years ago, but did NOT rebuild engine or trans. All electrical functional except oil pressure guage light, heater fan, and speedo. All new body and window rubber, sideview mirrors, NEW WINDSHIELD, and NEW LOCKING GAS CAP.

Actual mileage unknown as speedo was not functional when we bought it.

Yes, that is an original Opel GT steering wheel and it is extremely nice. Came from dad's Opel when he bought it new in 1972.
