Still displacing 353 cubic inches but with power output now up to 130 brake horsepower at 3,400 rpm, Cadillac's V-8s for 1935 came in three separate series, the Series 10 on a 128" wheelbase, series 20 with 136" between axle centers and the series 30 with 146" wheelbase. There were thirteen designs in the Fisher bodied Series 10 and 20 and they are some of the most attractively designed and proportioned bodies of the classic era, graceful combinations of traditional classic design elements with the emerging art and science of aerodynamics. None are more attractive than this Series 20 coupe, a gorgeous balance of proportion, streamlining and elegance. Finished in Yellow with Brown cloth interior, it has a rumble seat for occasional accommodation of two passengers, an enclosed rear-mounted spare and a Goddess radiator ornament. This example is a good running-driving older restoration that is now aging but shows consistent care and maintenance, receiving attention when and as needed. It has no pretentions and puts on no airs, just a good, solid, straight old car with some of the most attractive and practical coachwork ever designed for a classic V-8 Cadillac.
