SUMMARY:
Fresh from a 5 year frame off restoration, this beauty has only traveled 93 miles. This incredibly rare wagon is one of only a hand few left and is ready for any show, big or small. This very high dollar resto was handled by a true craftsman. Any wood that needed replacing was exactly matched in shape and materials. All fastening hardware was replaced with identical stainless steel bolts, nuts, and washers. This is your chance to buy an essentially new 1939 Pontiac.
The woodies have weathered the financial storm and have held their values. Proof of that came recently in Monterey, Ca when the Nick Alexander Woodie collection was sold at auction. The 51 Woodies brought a combined total of $7.3 million. The final car to cross the block was a 1939 Ford Deluxe Station wagon whose condition was similiar to this Pontiac and the car realized $215,000. With the rarity and low survival rate of woodies, not to mention the high cost of restoration, excellent examples are certain to remain an excellent investment choice with nearly certain appreciation for the unforseeable future.
