It has a clear PA Antique title and the car is titled as a 1960 (back in the day it was common to title the car the year it was sold). The car was in a partially restored state and in fantastic condition. During 2008 and 2009 the car was completed to its present show condition. The car chassis number is YD3 1785, the engine number is 16GBU1419, the Rear End Number is 1757 and the body number is B76399. The car is matching numbers except the 5 speed synchronized transmission. The chassis number (1785) is stamped on the cross member on the passenger side. The car is registered on the North American MGA Registry (NAMGAR) as car #2669. Also, the car is registered on the MGA Twin Cam Register and is 1 of 2,111 MGA Twin Cams built. How many are left? No one really knows but there are approximately 1,000, maybe less. The car is modified to look like a LeMans racer with a Jaguar oval in front with recessed tail lights. The body to fenders has been filled to present a clean look (no fender piping). The car has a very aggressive look and resembles a Cobra! The rear wheels have been widened by �� and really accent the lines on the car. The engine runs as a Twin Cam should. The oil pressure is 40-45 at idle and 55-60 at speed. The compression for all cylinders is 165 psi (dry). The 5 speed transmission shifts perfectly and the 1st gear is synchronized. The car drives 65 mph at 2600 rpms in 5th gear. The car runs cool and the water temperature on an 85 degree F day the water temperature is nominally 180 to 190 degrees. The car received the following in 2008 and 2009. Everything in the car is new or has been rebuilt. I have receipts to document the rebuild or purchase of new parts. The car is painted a beautiful Jaguar dark blue with a deep red Gammons interior. The color combination looks fantastic.
