Extremely Rare Car- Only 1 of 16 or less known to exist! Absolutely Beautiful Chrysler Crown Coupe- South Hampton Series with Stainless Steel roof and loaded with premium options. The 1959 Imperial was designed to be the ultimate car available on the road. Big, beautiful fins and long sweeping body lines epitomized this era of great cars from Chrysler.
Add in the latest technology like Auto Pilot, true-level torsion-aire, electro-touch tuner radio, 6-way power and swivel seat, power antenna, automatic beam changer, and power windows.
Under the hood is the ever-powerful, smooth, and quiet 413 Golden Lion pumping out 350 hp.
Condition of the vehicle:
Overall excellent condition inside and out.
Exterior paint is very glossy, deep, and very straight down the sides. The Green paint has been re-finished with great attention to detail. The complimenting darker green accent roof color completes the cars stunning color combination.
Interior- Very nice-Restored seats and new carpet. Swivel and power seats work great. Front and rear arm-rests. Luxury and roominess with great window visibility through curtal clear glass all around. Front and rear glass are uniquely "bowed" and beautiful.
Mechanical- excellent- Odometer reads 68,000 miles. While there is no way to prove original, it very well could be based on the condition of the car. The Golden Lion 413 runs smooth and powerful wth no leaks or noises. It appears to original and never been apart. Transmission shift as it should. $3,000 spent on brakes, tune-up, carburator, master cylinder, etc. The car drives and rides great. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
New dual exhaust and near new tires.
Undercarriage, floors, and trunk floor are all clean and undercoated.
The car had been in dry Montana for most it's life and shows no signs of corrosion.
