This beautifully maintained and restored 1964 Volvo is a true classic. The eclectic styling of this Swedish import changed little over its entire 21 year production run! This car has a perfect body with no bondo or rust. Classy gun-metal gray paint coordinates with deep red interior. Receipts included for over $15,000 of restoration work - New clutch, Windshield & gasket, exhaust system, voltage regulator, OEM rubber floor mats, OEM hubcaps, rear parcel shelf and headliner. Dual SU carbs entirely overhauled and rebuilt. Original rare European Blaupunkt multi-band radio adds to the charm of this head turner! Engine rebuilt 8k miles ago with hardened valves to allow for US unleaded gas. Just tuned up and compression tests out at 120 on all 4 cylinders. This is a surprisingly zippy 90 hp, 1.8 litre engine, and the car handles very nicely. This is an extremely clean and reliable vehicle, and one of the finest 544's around. This is a beautiful car, and really fun to drive. Aside from a few small rock chips the paint is great and it is mechanically perfect. It could use rear brakes and a heater control valve. The deep red tufted vinyl upholstery is near perfect, with just a few small blemishes. The headliner is new. This is a wonderful example of a fine vintage Swedish automobile. It has the quirks, noises and charm of a 1964 automobile.
