Widened:
To enjoy the full potential of this car, the quarte r panels were widened to fit the full width C5 suspension and rear end set up.

Many cars shorten the half shafts which doesn" t allow as much wheel travel.
Result:
- Wider rear end allows the 2004 corvette C5 suspension.
- Widened quarter panels with wider chrome bumpers
- Engineering remains as the C5 corvette engineers designed it
- Fuel tank with increased capacity relocated to rear spare well to allow sound system and battery installation in cockpit

Transformed:
The look of the 1959 corvette was so attractive to the owner, that the body had to look like an original car. This is no kit car. An original 1959 corvette was the starting point for this project.
