1936 Ford Roadster Hot Rod
Est. 300hp, 350 cu. in. Chevrolet V8 engine,
Hydra-Matic 350 automatic transmission, solid front axle with transverse leaf spring, nine-inch Ford rear axle. Wheelbase: 112"
This handsome 1936 Ford Roadster reflects the many innovative power and suspension advancements of the intervening decades, yet retains its handsome original bodywork and period flair. The Roadster has an attractive and well-executed black exterior finish, as well as a bold hot rod stance. Widened and painted steel wheels, with chrome 'baby moon' hubcaps and trim rings complete the exterior package. The interior is beautifully refinished with light brown upholstery, carpeting, and a 'banjo'-style steering wheel.
A reliable and powerful 350 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 engine breathes deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, mounted on a Weiand aluminum intake manifold. Exhaust gases are removed by low-restriction Corvette-type exhaust manifolds with a full-length dual exhaust system. A reliable, smooth-shifting Turbo Hydra-Matic 350 three-speed automatic transmission delivers the power to a strong nine-inch Ford rear-end assembly.
