1940 Ford V8 Deluxe Convertible Coupe. Beige/Tan Top/Brown interior. Here is a wonderful example of the iconic 1940 Ford convertible designed by Eugene Gregoire as commissioned by Edsel Ford. This car is a lovely older restoration that shows light use and impeccable care. Painted in subtle beige with a tan cloth top, this Convertible Coupe is the epitome of sporting elegance at its best. A chrome grille guard, bumper extensions and windscreen radio antenna only augment this impression, as do the wide whitewall tires with full wheel discs and trim rings, right down to the chrome tipped exhaust. Added features to the DeLuxe models included a smaller speedometer face fitted into the maroon and sand two-tone dash that matched the new two-spoke steering wheel, a far more elaborate chrome grille, and chrome headlamp rings with a fluted surround on the integrated parking lights. Runs and drives exactly as it should.
