A 1940 Ford Chopped Coupe found in a barn on a Southern California ranch. During a 5 year restoration which preserved the chopped top, leaded fender seams, smoothed drip rails and door handles, frenched headlamps and tail lights, the 221 flathead was rebuilt, Linoln Brakes, a LaSalle three speed transmission, chromed DeSoto bumpers added and a final touch of single rib chrome Radir Wheels, it was found the car originated at Barris Bros East LA Kustom Industries during the early 50's. Work is pictured in Barris's early works biography Vol 1 and authenticated by George Barris personally. A pioneer example of West Coast Kustomizing a one and only time offer to purchase this piece of Automotive Americana.
