You are looking at a very clean, older restoration 1959 Nash Metropolitan convertible. According to previous owner, car has been driven for less than 200 miles a year and garaged for the last 17 years. It has a 3-speed manual transmission on the steering column (3 on the tree ! ). This classic car turns heads wherever it goes. The interior has been completely restored using a custom teal and white combo on the front seats, door panels and rear removeable seats. The carpet is new and is a gray custom automotive carpet installed on all floors and in the trunk. Previous owner had the engine completely overhauled, the carburetor has been rebuilt and it runs very well, also had a keyed ignition installed and start button as an upgrade which is a great improvement. The tires have less than 1000 miles on them. This classic is in very good condition - absolutely NO RUST or corrosion and it has been a California car from the time it was shipped over from England. It has an Austin engine - the A40 1500 cc 4 cylinder version. The paint job is excellent and the matching interior upholstery and white ragtop make this a truly beautiful model of a fun-to-drive, very rare 1960's era car.

Please note: There is a brake fluid leak that I haven't had time to work on and the odometer and radio does not work - other than that this vehicle is a great little classic !
