If you are looking for a nice driving great looking Healey, this is it. This car had received a ground up restoration that was finished 10 years ago. It has been driven less than 1,000 miles since and still looks great. During the restoration this car received all the upgrades, like leather interior, wool carpet, canvas top and boot cover, new Burl walnut dash, fog lamps, badge bar and badges, safety belts on both front and rear seats, new cloth wiring harness, new windshield, new seat tracks, new seat foam, and new Dayton chrome wire wheels with stainless spokes. It has a straight back stainless exhaust system that sounds awesome. The engine and transmission were rebuilt with less than 1,000 miles. The starter was upgraded to a gear reduction starter which makes starting a breeze whether it is hot or cold. It has an electronic ignition and an electronic front mounted cooling fan. The car runs fine without it, but being from Miami the previous owner did not want to have any problems on hot summer days with stop and go traffic. Show or go the car is ready to go. Anyone who has restored a classic car knows the aggravations and pitfalls. You keep writing checks and it never seems to get done. It is kind of like remodeling a house, you use the rule of 2, it’ll cost you twice as much and takes twice as long to complete it. You’re better off buying one done. You write one check for a fraction of the restoration cost and you’re ready for fun.
