Make your own Ghostbusters Ectomobile clone. One just sold at an Illinois antique car shop for $125,000, and it wasn't even the correct square windows! I've had her in storage for over three years and just can't seem to find a way to get her home and restore her. Ecto is a 1959 M&M Cadillac ambulance/hearse combo. Less than 2,000 were produced and they are darn near impossible to try and find. Friends of mine every once in a while say they saw a 'ghostbuster' car and it is a 60s or 70s car and not even close to the real deal. The car needs to be restored. The engine is intact but not running. The car rolls, tires hold air, interior needs to be re-upholstered. The hubcaps and bumpers are good. Ecto is pretty much complete - missing only a few pieces of trim. Rusted in the normal ambulance/hearse areas: floors have some rust above where the mufflers were located (flat areas - should be an easy fix), rust in both rocker panels and bottom of front fenders behind wheel openings (all 59s rust here). Doors are real good, solid; open and close properly, some surface rust. All glass is good except she needs a front windshield - it is the same from 1959 through 1965 Cadillac limousine, hearse, ambulances and flower cars. Other GM professional cars would be the same also - Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile.
