1986 Ford RS200 Rally Car

This extremely rare all wheel drive 1986 Ford RS200 Evolultion Group B Rally car is one of just 24 that were built worldwide. It is being sold as a race car and is not street legal.
This RS 200 Evolution is in outstanding condition inside and out and comes with a set of spare wheels, a spare transmission and transaxle and two spare stock cloth seats.

This RS200 has no odometer, so the mileage is unknown.

The engine is a longitudinally mounted in-line 5 main bearing 4-cylinder with an aluminum alloy head and block. It has dual overhead cams with 4 valves per cylinder, a toothed belt camshaft drive, Bosch Motronic engine management system and fuel injection with a Garrett turbocharger that produces an awesome 650 horsepower.

The transmission is a 5-speed manual, AP twin plate paddle clutch with cerrametallic linings.

The front suspension is independent with double wishbones, twin coil springs and telescopic dampers with an anti-roll bar. The rear suspension is independent with double wishbones, twin coil springs and telescopic dampers with an anti-roll bar and adjustable toe control link.

The steering is rack and pinion with hydraulic power assistance resulting in 1.8 turns lock-to-lock, The brakes are dual circuits, split front/rear with the fronts being 11.8 in diameter with ventilated discs. The rear brakes are 11.8 in diameter with ventilated discs and no vacuum servo.

This 1986 Ford RS 200 Group B rally car is extremely rare and highly sought after.

The RS 200 shop manual and other manufacturer documentation are included.

@planearm my first car was a ford estate age 17. i got an XR2 in 1986 and changed for an RS turbo in 1988. i'm now in a purgeot 106.
