1980 Norton Classic - Rotary Motorcycle - Sold at $8,852

1988 Norton Classic - Very clean bike and beautiful bike. Extremely RARE. It is one of the few that are legally registered in the US. Only 3 are known to be in the US. From what I understand, there were only 100 made. It was supposedly a project for Interpol. It's a twin rotary engine. One side of the engine seems to indicate that the apex seals are bad. There is oil in the intake and exhaust on the left bank. Also there is a small perosity hole on the right bottom center of the tank, shown in the pic. It is very difficult to start but will run. When I rode it, it was the smoothest running bike I have ever been on. No vibrations, good brakes, very nice handling, a comfortable ride. It comes with the service and parts manuals. It has 4160 miles on it.
