This truck was originally produced by Chip Foose and built by Regency Conversions of Ft. Worth, Texas. The truck was made and auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson, with half of the proceeds going to Childhelp USAÃ‚Â®, and the other half to CASA Center for Prevention of Abuse and Violence.
Based on a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado short-wheelbase pick-up, this custom truck was designed by Chip Foose for a limited edition series of 300. Foose has won the prestigious 'America's Most Beautiful Roadster' award four times, the 'Street Rod of the Year' award five times, and is the youngest ever inductee into the Hot Rod Hall of Fame.
The vehicle features include an RST suspension with exclusive 20' chrome Speedster wheels and heavy-duty Baer brakes with drilled and vented 4-wheel disc brake rotors. It also features a performance-enhanced exhaust system with ceramic headers, a rear steel roll pan and molded exhaust ports, custom front spoiler with billet inserts and a polished billet grille. The truck has a Regency stainless steel dash and backlit red gauges, chrome Regency shifter and ball shift knob, and a black 'RST' suede interior with red highlights.
