FULLY FUNCTIONAL, OLDER RESTORATION, 1928 FORD MODEL A DELIVERY/CRETOR POPCORN TRUCK. RUNS WELL, DISPLAYS EVEN BETTER, AND IS TOTALLY FUNCTIONAL. A CROWD PLEASER THAT HAS DONE ITS SHARE OF PARADE DUTY AND STILL ATTRACTS THE PEOPLE LIKE BEES TO HONEY!! THE CRETOR POPCORN EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING COMPANY IS WELL KNOW FOR MAKING QUALITY CORN POPPING EQUIPMENT, SINCE THE EARLY 1900s, WHEN THESE POPCORN VENDING WAGONS WERE HORSE DRAWN. ACCORDING TO POPCORN MAGAZINE, A BUSINESS SUCH AS THIS, CAN GROSS $1000-$1500 A DAY, WITH VERY LITTLE OVERHEAD! AFTER ALL, HOW MUCH IS POPPING CORN AND BUTTER? THIS TRUCK RUNS VERY WELL, AND LOOKS AS GOOD AS IT RUNS. IT PURRS LIKE A KITTEN. WELL, MAYBE A WARTHOG. IF YOU HAVE EVER WATCHED THE "BEVERLY HILLBILLIES" OR "THE THREE STOOGES" THEN YOU KNOW THAT INDISTINGUISHABLE SOUND OF A MODEL A!! I AM NOT ENTIRELY SURE, BUT BELIEVE THE DRIVETRAIN TO BE AN ORIGINAL STRAIGHT 4 CYLINDER. IT APPEARS THAT THE ONLY PARTS REPLACED MAY BE THE HOSES, BELTS, ETC. THE EXTERIOR TRIM IS SOLID OAK. THE RESTORATION WAS METICULOUSLY DONE, AND BOTH THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR ARE IN EXCELLENT TO NEAR MINT CONDITION. IT SPORTS GREAT, HIGH QUALITY GRAPHIC, AND A CANOPY ON BOTH SIDES TO SHADE YOUR CUSTOMERS. SHE CAN BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE, BUT WITH A TOP SPEED OF ABOUT 52 1/2 MILES AN HOUR, IT MAY TAKE YOU A BIT LONGER TO GET TO YOUR DESTINATION. THE MODEL A REPLACED HENRY FORD'S MODEL T, IN DECEMBER OF 1927, SO THIS IS ONE OF THE FIRST ONES MADE. THEY HAD TWICE THE HORSE POWER AS THE TIN LIZZY MODEL T's, WITH A WHOPPING 40 HP, AND WERE A HIT AT THAT TIME. THIS ONE'S A BEAUTY, AND SOMETHING THAT HAS LIMITLESS POTENTIAL. I AM SURE THAT SHOULD THIS CHANGE HANDS, THE NEW OWNER WILL BE ELATED WITH IT.

From Wikipedia

The Ford Model T (colloquially known as the Tin Lizzie, T‑Model Ford, or T) is an automobile that was produced by Henry Ford's Ford Motor Company from September 1908 to October 1927. It is generally regarded as the first affordable automobile, the car that opened travel to the common middle-class American; some of this was because of Ford's innovations, including assembly line production instead of individual hand crafting.
