Its elegant, understated lines, excellent driver ergonomics, robust reliability, and classic V12 exhaust note have made it an all-time top car on many collector`s lists. This well cared for example saw an extremely high quality repaint 16 years ago. The finish of the paint remains phenomenal, although a few minor nicks and wear marks, associated with age and use, have appeared. The door, trunk, and bonnet gaps are all excellent throughout, and the jams all nicely detailed. The chrome looks to be original, and is in very good condition, with no major pitting or corrosion. The car sits on nicely polished Borrani wire wheels with Michelin XWX tires. The interior is also very good, and appears to be very original. The seats, dash, console, rear shelf and door panel leather are all in very good condition and appear to be unchanged from new. The carpets also look to be original, and have only minor wear and discoloration. Both the dash wood and headliner are excellent. All the gauges are fully operational, and the A/C blows frigid cold, having been serviced in late 2005. The car has been fitted with a later model cassette player. The engine bay has been very carefully detailed and presents itself well. The underside, while not detailed for show, confirms this car has remained a rust and accident free example all its life. Unlike most 330 GTCs, this car still has the fiberglass radiator guard in place. The trunk is in good original condition. This car was serviced in late 2005 by Dino motors, including the replacement of all 4 soft brake lines, rebuilding the A/C system, and replacing the necessary front end suspension bushings. The engine sounds good and runs strong with very good compression on all 12 cylinders. The transaxle is also very good, with excellent second gear syncros when warm. With the car comes serviced documentation from Dino motors, an original 330 GTC owner`s manual in excellent condition, an original tool roll with some tools, and a one piece spare with XWX tire.

From WikipediaThe Ferrari P series were prototype sports cars in the 1960s and early 1970s. Although Enzo Ferrari resisted the move even with Cooper dominating F1, Ferrari began producing mid-engined racing cars in 1960 with the Ferrari Dino-V6-engine Formula Two 156, which would be turned into the Formula One-winner of 1961. Sports car racers followed in 1963. Although these cars shared their names (based on engine displacement) with road models, they were almost entirely dissimilar. |
