You are bidding on an immaculate 1989 Chrysler Conquest TSi that I purchased from the original owner in May of 2003. The car had been adult-driven its entire 49,000-mile life, had never been modified, was and is completely rust-free. In talking with the original owner I learned that it had been mostly garage-kept, was completely accident-free, and impeccably maintained (I was shown records dating back to the original sale of the car).



Of the 4 available options (Sunroof, Leather, SHP, and Automatic), this car is equipped with 3 (Sunroof, Leather, SHP). The SHP, or Sport Handling Package, was and is the most popular option available on the Conquest TSi. It consists of larger wheels (16X8 F./16X9 R.), gas adjustable struts, sport springs, and larger tires (225 F./245 R.). 16 years after the car rolled off the showroom floor, the struts are still in perfect working order, a testament to how this car has been treated.



With a stock power output of 188 hp/232 lb-ft of torque, Road & Track (Dec '88) ran an identical Conquest to a 15.4 ¼-mile, but with its current output of nearly 290 hp/390 lb-ft of torque, the car will easily make a mid-13-second pass. I have had the car on a dyno (see pic below) where it put down 233 rear-wheel horsepower and 313 lbs of rear-wheel torque @ 17 psi on pump gas.
