This cute little Bugeye is in full driving condition and drives great! This Bugeye was mechanically restored before I bought it in 2001. The restoration was performed to make this car a fun, driving car; to maintain the "Bugeye" look, but to perform better then the original with alternate equipment. The car was transformed with a 1967 MG Midget 1275cc engine. Which runs great! The 1275 engine adds extra power to the car. The car drives fast and maintains great control at high speeds. The restoration that was performed in 2001 included a used transmission (in excellent condition) from a 1973 MG Midget Rib case gear box, new 5 pt. harness wiring systems and switches (positive earth), new rear springs, new and rebuilt clutch slave, pin and throw-out. The front and rear suspension, brakes and steering system were all rebuilt with new or excellent condition used parts. I maintain all the records for the material used to repair this car.

The body and chrome are in good condition. A restoration of the interior was performed in 2004. The interior is in good condition, with new carpeting. The car was newly painted in 2004. New floor boarding was installed to both the passenger and driver side of the car. New steel welding was done on both the passenger and driver side of the rear quarter panels. The hood of the car opens from the windshield, hinging up for better workability. The front hinge of the hood still latches so that it can be locked or completely removed. The car's radio slot was transformed to hold a new radio with a detachable face and CD player. The gauges all work well. The undercarriage and engine are both in good shape but could use a clean-up.
