1970 Plymouth Barracuda orange w/black topSource: CrashkleinEaston, Connecticut, U.S.A. portfolio Posted: 10 Feb 2005 Specs & DetailsInterior Color: black leatherEngine: V8 Transmission: auto Miles Driven: 68000 Sold For: $75,000 This is a North Carolina car, it is wearing all of its original sheet metal which has never been rusty. The paint was just redone a few years ago and is show quality. The bottom of the car is clean and original. The front end is tight and the car drives great. The original motor and trans were rebuilt and run like new. The motor is stock with a slightly larger than stock cam. The engine breaths through factory exhaust manifolds(no headers) which flow through a high performance system that is quiet but lets you hear the music when you get on it. The trunk floor is original like the rest of the panels , it is smooth as glass and not pitted as most original trunk pans are. The shaker hood is mint & original ,not a repro. The rally wheels have the correct polyglass tires like the car came with from the factory. The glass is very nice all the way around. Recap: Is it #s matching motor and trans? From WikipediaThe Plymouth Barracuda is a two-door car that was manufactured by the Plymouth division of the Chrysler Corporation from 1964–1974. The first-generation Barracuda, a fastback A-body coupe based on the Plymouth Valiant, had a distinctive wraparound back glass and was available from 1964–1966. The second-generation 1967–1969 Barracuda, though still Valiant-based, was heavily redesigned. Second-generation A-body cars were available in fastback, notchback, and convertible versions. |
