1987 Chevrolet Corvette white-blue

This car is my pride and joy. I have spent countless hours and money building this car. Unexpectedly we need to come up for some money for a surgery and that is why I am selling it. The car has a custom paint job as you can see in the pictures to resemble the 1996 grand sport. The entire drive line has been replaced from u-joints, transmission, to the monster 383ci motor. This car is not for the weak, it is a monster! The torque curve is instant producing a max torque of 652ftlbs at 3000 rpm and the horse power never peeked when it was on the dyno about 400 brake horses at 6000 rpm. I recently since the dyno put bigger injectors (31psi) instead of the stock 24psi and a bigger throttle body by bbk(twin 53mm), instead of the stock twin 48mm. I also installed two "MOMO start" fiberglass seats to cut down on weight (they weight 14lb each!) The car is set up for 5 point racing harnesses but I have not purchased any yet so the stock ones are still in the car. I still have the stock seats too and they are in good condition. I did have them repaired before I installed the momo seats. I also replaced the radiator, fam and theromostat to help the car run cooler; it almost never gets above 200 degrees. As with all cars there not all perfect. The steering column height adjuster needs to be tightened and the interior is good but not excellent. The plexiglass top needs replacement it has a small crack which I filled with silicon, it works but eventually needs to be replaced. I may be able to work in a new top in to the price of the car. I replaced all the window seals about a year and a half ago but some wear is evident. The front tires are good but the rear could be replaced(drag strip wear).The decals on the side of the car are an advertisement for my web site www.smartbookexchange.com and are vinyl they do come off, I will remove them before selling the car. The ad has only been on the car for 2months. Those are the only things wrong with this car, not much at all considering we starter building this car two years ago and spent over $26,000 this is a steal for any corvette lover.
