Specs & Details

Interior Color: tan
Engine: 4 cyl
Transmission: manual
Miles Driven: 146000
Rare right hand drive 1500. I owned this car for over 30 years and took care of it carefully. I am the second owner since it was new. The color is the original British racing green. The body is in excellent condition. Few superficial marks. The top and the middle zipper tonneau are in good condition. I have to go to Australia for a while and as much as I would like to hang on to it, with a heavy heart, it's probably better if I sold it. My other option is to put it into storage. I would like my pride and joy go to someone who loves and appreciates MGs. I spent over $6,000 on the engine about two months ago - I didn't know then that I had to sell it. The head was completely overhauled, new pistons, new clutch, everything that needed to be done mechanically was done - it runs great. The work was done by Mike Goodman the best MG doctor in LA who serviced the car for 30 years. I have all the receipts. Guess how I feel about having to sell it?
No rust, everything perfect mechanically. The top and tonneau are in good condition, no tears. Have all the side windows. Color is British racing green. It would not take much to bring it to concourse condition. All the instruments work except the clock.
The car is definitely a 1500. I forgot to mention I had Mike Goodman install the 1500 engine. For me, the 1250 wasn't powerful enough. I still have the old 1250 block, which I am happy to throw in.
