1968 AMC Javelin SST orangeSource: AutoexperiencePhoenix, Arizona, U.S.A. portfolio Posted: 26 Oct 2004 Specs & DetailsInterior Color: blackEngine: V8 Transmission: auto Any mechanic will be impressed with this car and rave about its performance and handling. The Dual Flow Master Exhaust sounds Awesome! The Floors, Frame, and the Rest of the Undercarriage are Rust Free! The Rust Free Body is as Straight as can be and shows nice with the Recent Orange Paint complete with Black Hood Scoops, Hood Locks, and "C" Stripes. The Donahue Trunk Spoiler is Original and sets off the look of this Classic which was the last Pony Car introduced to America. It also has Traction Bars and Aluminum Slotted Mags. The Interior is Very Nice with Factory Bucket Seats, Floor Automatic Shift Command Shifter, Console, and AMC In Dash Tachometer with Tilt Wheel. Everything is in Good Original condition including the Recently redone Front Seats. The car now has an In Dash AM/FM CD that sounds nice. This is the next Great American Muscle Car Story. These cars are rising faster in Value than almost any other Classic. At 310 Horse Power it's no wonder this 2836 IBS car did so well at the Trans Am Races. There weren't many of these made. We wonder how many are left, especially in this condition. Cons: Miscellaneous parts missing, rear dome light lenses, passenger inside door handle, driver sun visor, directional lever, speaker cut out in driver door panel, needs weather stripping, passenger door lock not working, no jack or spare. These parts can be obtained locally however.

From WikipediaThe AMC Javelin is a pony car that was built by the American Motors Corporation between 1967 and 1974 in two generations, model years 1968-1970 (with a separate design in 1970) and 1971-1974. The sporty Javelins came only as two-door hardtop body style, and were available in economical versions or as high-performance muscle cars.
