About This 1960 Plymouth Belvedere

AZ Rust Free. This vehicle has been Owned by One Family with only 65,000 Original miles on it. This car may be one of the cleanest Original unmolested specimens left.

The Body is all Pure Detroit Steel-No Bondo anywhere! The Floors, Frame and Trunk still look new. The Original color paint looks awesome with no dents or dings in it and the Bumpers Sparkle like new. The Grille, Jet Age Medallions and the rest of the Trim is all there and in Excellent shape including all four Original hubcaps. This Long Sleek Body sweeps beautifully into the notorious Shark Fins. The Tail Lenses are also excellent except that the left back up lens is cracked.

The Trunk is as clean and dry as the day it left the factory and still has the Original Jack and a spare tire that look original and unused. Even the instruction placard is still on the Trunk Deck.

The Interior is the Upgraded Belvedere Triple Tone Vinyl with Cloth seats that wee professionally covered over 20 years ago. I was told at the time of purchase that the seats were in excellent condition when they were covered.

The Original Headliner looks great and the Padded Door Panels look new and are still supple. The Dashboard is very impressive with the Original Dash Mounted Rear View Mirror and Push Button Automatic Transmission. The Original Steering Wheel and Horn Button are very nice as well. The Fresh looking Gauges all work including the Horizontal Lazer Speedometer. The car has an older AM-FM cassette carefully mounted under the dash that works fine. The car does not leak inside and the Glass is in great shape. Even the Dash Lights, dome Lights and Door Locks work.

1960 was the first year for the Technical Innovation of the Overhead Valve Slant Six 225 ci Engine. Weighing in at only 3340 LBS this 145 Horsepower Engine could really move. It runs smooth and it does not smoke or leak.
