This is by far the nicest 1954 Chevrolet 3100 pickup I have ever seen. It has 161 miles since a professional, complete, frame off restoration. Everything on this first series truck is either new or rebuilt. That includes every bolt, bushing and wire. No expense was spared. The truck was restored to the original specifications. The body is arrow straight including the bed walls. The paint is exceptional (9.5 on a 10 scale). The cab and bed where painted apart so that between the two the paint is excellent. The underside of the fenders where painted with the same care as the rest of the body. The body appears to be completely original with no patches. All panels are steel; there are absolutely no fiberglass aftermarket parts. The chrome and stainless trim on this pickup are amazing. Chrome items include the front and rear bumpers, grille, door handles, exterior mirrors, hood emblem and ornament. The glass is perfect throughout. The highly detailed undercarriage is patch free as well and looks as good as the body. All of the suspension and steering components have also been rebuilt or replaced. The 6-cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission are extremely fresh with only 161 miles since being professionally rebuilt. The tires are original belt type Allstate 6.50-16s including the spare, which has never been on the ground. The tires look great accented by new hubcaps and beauty rings. There are no disappointments in the interior either. Everything looks as good or better than new and works perfectly including the original radio. Not only does this truck have a working radio but it also comes with turn signals a heater and an oil filter canister. If you want one of the best or the best first series pickups in the world this is the truck for you. This truck honestly runs and drives better than new.
