About This 1979 Triumph TR7 Convertible
Posted: 12 May 2003
$7.6k is big money for this car, proving quality (condition) sells. Will probably appreciate over the next few years, but TR7's will never be market superstars, so no need to treat it like a queen. Buy and drive. No change in value for these cars last year. ~~~ Amazingly low miles for such a little run-about roadster. I used to think these cars were hideous, but they've since grown on me (most cars do once they're 20-some years old and have bottomed-out in value). Own and drive it for what it is, then pass it on.
ONLY 13,979 ORIGINAL MILES ON THIS 1979 TRIUMPH TR7 WITH OVERDRIVE AND AIR-CONDITIONING. THE EXTERIOR IS SILVER WITH BLACK SOFTOP, AND THE INTERIOR HAS A HANDSOME BLACK DASHBOARD, BLACK CONSOLE, BLACK CARPETING AND TAN PLUSH BUCKET SEATS. THIS SALE INCLUDES WORKING AM/FM PANASONIC RADIO, LUGGAGE RACK, FOUR ALMOST-NEW MICHELIN TIRES ON THE CAR, SPARE, JACK & TOOLS, ORIGINAL OWNER'S MANUALS, BLACK SOFT-TOP COVER IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, A PERFECTLY FUNCTIONING AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM, AND 5-SPEED GEARBOX (OVERDRIVE) FOR PLEASANT CRUISING TOO.
THE VEHICLE IS IN EXCEPTIONAL ORIGINAL CONDITION AND SUPERB RUNNING CONDITION. THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THIS CAR WAS MY FATHER WHO PROPERLY SERVICED IT AND ALWAYS GARAGED IT. IT WAS ONLY DRIVEN DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS IN SUBURBAN CHICAGO. THE TR7 IS AN EYECATCHER WITH THE RETRACTABALE HEADLIGHTS AND 'WEDGE' STYLING. THIS CAR IS ABOUT AS CLEAN AND ORIGINAL AS YOU CAN GET, SO DON'T SETTLE FOR LESS! THE INTERIOR LOOKS NEW AND THE BODY, CHASSIS, TRANSMISSION, BRAKES AND EXHAUST SYSTEM ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE. THE CAR IS NOW IN SUPERIOR RUNNING CONDITION REQUIRING NO REPAIRS WHATSOEVER: IT IS READY TO BE DRIVEN AND ENJOYED. BOTH HEADLIGHTS POP UP OUT OF THE HOOD, ARE STRAIGHT, AND RETRACT SMOOTHLY TOO.
