About This 1960 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite

A complete frame-off restoration on this Sprite was done 2 years ago. The 1969 Sprite 1275 was completely rebuilt with new motor mounts, a Weber 40 DCOE carb, a new water pump and an electric fuel pump. The engine was bored and a 3/4 cam was installed. It has a spin-on oil filter conversion and has been converted to a 12-volt negative ground system with a new 62 amp alternator. The radiator was cleaned and boiled out. A 1982 Datsun 5-speed, all syncro transmission was installed which makes driving a pleasure at all highway speeds. The clutch, pressure plate and ring gear are all new. The brakes are new including 1969 Sprite front disc brakes and rear 1960 drum brakes. The wheels are British knock-off aluminum and the tires are new. All hydraulics are new or rebuilt. It has a completely new wiring harness. All hoses and rubber parts are new.
This beauty is in outstanding condition. It runs superbly and can be driven every day. The twin glass pack mufflers add a great sound. The paint job is simply amazing. A real head-turner!!!
