1987 Audi Coupe GT Special Build tornado red

This is the 1987.5 "Special Build" Coupe GT. Audi only sent a handful of these over to the states in mid-1987. It's factory date is 7/87, one the last of it's kind. Not lightning fast, but a beautifully smooth touring coupe with exceptional steering feel. A true driver's car. This is also my second Coupe (first was a 1982 in diamond silver). These latter Coupes (1985-1987) are far more refined than the earlier ones. With the 2.3L NG engine and 4-wheel discs, the 1987.5's were the cream of the crop.
