Over $50,000 Invested Investment Quality! I have owned this car only since last fall. I have driven it approximately 15 miles since that time. It has been inside, in storage, with a custom nylon California Car cover on it. This is the fastest and nicest car I have ever driven. I do not have the time to enjoy this car, it should go to someone who can. The description below is from the prior owner's advertisement when I purchased it, as well as the You Tube Video links. The buyer is responsible for shipping, payment is a certified bank check. The starting price is set at a lower cost than what I purchased it for. Prior owner's description: This is a true 3 owner car between best friends and family. Built at the Van Nuys assembly plant in Southern California then shipped to Las Vegas, NV. This car has been babied since day 1 and only driven to car shows to display for the contest. I selected the luck monkey holding the key in its box and when I started it I almost passed out. The car is autographed by Gas Monkey Garage owner Richard Rawlings on the dash. This car was originally ordered by Richard Rawlings but gave up his spot to the A Number 1 Air owner for the contest. text: 383 4-Speed In Violet Crazy Purple Very nice Road Runner that runs strong and looks great. It was painted about 5 or 6 years ago and although not perfect it presents very well. The body is straight and the glass is good. The chrome on the front and rear bumpers is excellent. We have tried to point out any flaws in our pictures. The interior needs to be refurbished to be show quality. The windows don't roll up properly without assistance and the rear parcel deck needs recovered. With a little TLC this Road Runner could be taken to the next level, or drive it the way it is. The motor runs out strong and makes a lot of power with an Edelbrock 4 Bbl carb and manifold. The spark is boosted with an MSD Ignition with Flame-Thrower Coil and high performance wires. The transmission is good in all 4 gears but the Hurst linkage is balky and needs to be sorted out, sometimes pops out of second gear. The clutch action is very stout.

The car has so many new parts. The car looks to have had a rotisserie restoration. It has new brake lines, fuel tank, exhaust, suspension components, upgraded brakes, booster, master, all gauges are new and functional, and the radio even works. The interior is in equal almost perfect condition. Please look at the pictures closely. I only had a few more things to do but decided I needed to sell before I could finish the GTX. It still needs the hood painted(black Stripe), the GTX correct grill, wheels, 4speed lower transmission cover, and the emblems. It has about 2 miles since its restoration and has not been driven on the road. It runs and shifts perfectly.

It does not have the original engine (1965 YF B-body 9778789 block date 11/30/64, 76 heads, 9778816 intake no carb). The engine does not turn over. I do not know how long it was stored with the open intake. The floor pan is in excellent condition as are the rear quarters. The trunk pan will need at least some patchwork. The roof has some dents from what looks like timbers being placed on top to make for more storage in the barn. The car is being sold as it was found (with the exception of the hood I am including). That includes the Fenton Hawk Mags (14x6) at all 4 corners. The lower rear seat was missing and the seat back is in poor condition. General condition was very good with minor dents in the center of each door, front center roof, deck lid near the left rear, and a minor fender bender on the driver side. Both front fenders had been modified by the original owner for larger tires so were replaced with NOS Ford fenders. Also repaired a leaking driver side cowl, and replaced part of the driver floorpan. text: Rare 1967 Camaro RS/SS 350 REAL Black/Black (NON Vinyl Top) car. This is a barn find that has been off the road for over 30 years. From what I can tell this car was formerly a race car and they must have blown the original drivetrain (original engine and transmission are long gone). It currently has a non running 6cyl and automatic trans, but this came from the factory as a V8 car (the third digit of the VIN# is a 4) and this is a REAL RS/SS350. The car has some rust but overall the structure seems solid. The front subframe and rear frame rails look very solid. The Outer Rockers look pretty solid as well. Needs Quarter Panels, Fenders, Hood, Front Valance, Trunk Lid, etc and their are a few holes in the floors. The trunk is solid but has some rust in the center of the pan, so the center of the pan will need replacing. The rear upper shock mounts look good. Has the original SS Hood with both Louvers but has some rust issues on the hood. Passenger Door is dented. The Rally Sport front ... read more @ 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS - Restoration Project
