text: The American auto makers all have exciting cars in their past. Ford tried to revive the Thunderbird with a half-baked, overpriced effort. The new versions of the Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger are much more serious attempts. Unfortunately, Ford is still shying away from hard-core retro style with the new Mustang, opting more for just familiar design cues. Now, Austrian designer Michael Leonhard has come out with a cool new concept version of the revered Plymouth Superbird. Michael Leonhard: 'The design is based on the Road Runner Concept. It’s the comeback of a winged warrior. And a reminiscence of the good old days in Nascar Racing. Brought back to the future.' Well done Michael.

Prowlers were produced from 1997 to 2002 and, if they saw this awesome example first, maybe they would still be sending them out the door to the many people who still want one. Well, Chrysler did stop production but, here is your chance to bid on and, if your the high bidder? own a really unique Prowler Roadster. This 2000 Prowler has only 8,900 pampered miles. It has the original and rare red paint (only 190 in 2000), but it is not very difficult to see what has been added. Just feast your eyes on the magnificent Flames that really set this roadster apart from the rest. The custom flames by 'Razor' are not the only upgrades that have found the way to this Prowler. text: New York City marked police car (RMP). This vehicle is a police package car that was originally a Philadelphia police car that had been purchased by a Philadelphia police officer with the intention of restoring the car. The car sat in storage for several years before being purchased by me in 2011. I have completely restored the car, converting it to the NYPD markings of the period. This restoration was done with painstaking attention to detail, utilizing my contacts as a 30-year law enforcement officer to ensure accuracy. I was provided with the paint code for the NYPD blue color of the 1980s. Though I had also been provided with original decals, they were in poor condition so new decals were made from the original design and were printed on 3M reflective tape, making them highly visible. I have two light bars that will be provided with the car. Both light bar styles were used on NYPD cars in the 1980s. One is a Federal AeroTwin. The other is a Signal-Stat with the familiar large, ... read more @ 1987 Plymouth Gran Fury NYPD Marked Police Patrol Car (RMP)

text: What we have here, for your consideration, is one of those cars that is truly rare. I mean rare, rare. As in only 200 produced back in 1984. As in, so rare, that during my 24 year search for this car, I had never actually even seen one, only in an advertisement. The car is a 1984 Colt GTS Turbo, better known as a Mirage Turbo, and what is, genealogically speaking, the great grandfather of the current Mitsubishi Evolution rally car. The Colt was one of Mitsubishi’s first turbocharged exports, and a very successful rally car in it’s own right. The car you see here is one of the 200 examples known as the 1984 Colt GTS Turbo Black Edition, or the Pocket Rocket Edition to some. I bought this car from the original owner last summer, and it has not been in the rain since late 1984. I believe that the dealership owner drove it for a month or so, before the gentleman that I got it from took possession. As such, it is extremely clean, and though not perfect, it is 100% original... read more @ 1984 Plymouth Colt GTS Turbo Black Edition

text: Here is the story behind my 1979 Plymouth Fire Arrow. About 8 years ago I located a 1980 Plymouth Arrow. It was just the standard model. About a year later I found a 1979 Plymouth Fire Arrow. This one was in rough shape and was my vision for rebuilding the car that I had when I was in High School. So I disassembled the 1980 Arrow and used its body only as the base for my 1979 Fire Arrow. I basically removed the interior, engine, drive train, suspension, and trim from the ’79 parts car. I rebuilt all the items and made a New 1979 Plymouth Fire Arrow. Here is a list of the items I’ve done: 1. Professionally rebuilt the 2.6 L 4 cylinder engine. 2. Professionally rebuilt the 5-speed transmission and clutch. 3. Removed, sandblasted and rebuilt front suspension and steering rack. 4. Removed, sandblasted and repainted rear end. (Original rear end with disc brakes is available). 5. New brakes including rotors, drums, pads, brake cylinders, and brake calipers. 6. New ... read more @ 1979 Plymouth Fire Arrow

text: This car was originally owned by an older lady in Vancouver, Wa. and spent most of its younger life as the family car. Later in life, it was purchased by a younger gentleman who, because of military commitments, was not able to spend much time with it, so it spent most of it's time in the driveway under a tarp. It was three years ago when I found it in that driveway, and it found a new home. The original intent was to rebuild the motor, throw some paint on it and play. Things didn't quite go as first planned. When I started to sand the paint, I realized the body was in outstanding shape. the floor pans were not rusted, nor was the trunk. I kept sanding and finally the car was to bare metal. By now, the car was completely stripped and on a rotisserie. The 40 year old undercoat was removed and the bottom was sanded as well. The car was then relocated to Osoyoos, Canada, into JF Kustoms, an award winning car builder for the next stage. This Barracuda was totally disassembled, put on a rotisserie, and every nut, bolt and part was replaced during assembly. The underside of the car was treated with the same paint as the top side, and it shows unbelievably. There are only 1200 or so miles on the car since the car has been back together. There is absolutely no rust or bondo anywhere on the body, trunk, or floor. It is absolutely immaculate. The paint is a base/clear Bright White with very subtle pearl ghost flames. It also has the Hemi hockey stripe and a black spoiler added. The gaps on the car line up right and enhance this beautiful paint. You will also notice the car has shaved handles to truly complete the sleek look of the car. It was our car for 13 and 1/2 years - could you imagine that! Our family ride was one of the greatest muscle cars ever built! Around the time I was 5 years old, I became obsessed with it. My father sold it in June of 1985 and I was totally devastated. Since then, I always felt there was something missing from my life. I made a vow on that day in June of '85 that I would get another one like it. It's over 15 years and I haven't forgotten about the car or the promise I made myself. Our Road Runner's VIN# is RM23-P2R-181331. Maybe the person who owns it now will read this message. I'd really like to know what happened to it.

text: 1971 Hemi GTX - Original Paint / Numbers Matching / Unrestored Survivor You are looking at one of the very best '71 Hemi GTXs in existence! Of the 32 that were built it is highly unlikely that there are any more than 3 or 4 of them left in the condition that this one is in. This awesome Hemi GTX has only had three previous owners in its entire 35 years and the last two owned it for approx. 30 of those. The original owners name has unfortunately been forgotten over the years but it is known to have sold new in Pennsylvania. Other than the deck lid being repainted and a few touch up spots here and there this GTX is still wearing its original paint. In case you didn't already know, the '71 Hemi GTX is the rarest hardtop Plymouth Hemi car built in 1970 & 1971. Also, of the 1,470 Hemi GTX hardtops that were built from '67 to '71 only a mere 2% of them were '71 models. There were only 30 shipped in the U.S. and another 2 that were sent to Canada. text: This is possibly the best 1971 HEMI 'Cuda that the factory ever produced. It is GY3 Curious Yellow with factory black billboard stripes and a HEMI 4-speed manual transmission. Curious Yellow is the most desirable color ever used on any '71 'Cuda. A rotisserie restoration was finished in 2006 using original and NOS parts. Only three '71 HEMI 'Cudas were originally painted Curious Yellow, two 4-speeds and 1 auto. This is the only 4-speed that came with factory billboard stripes. It has 16K original miles. The original matching numbers engine has been visually inspected and documented by Galen Govier. This car is listed in Galen's Chrysler Registry.

text: If you are checking out this auction, you probably already know that the hottest musclecar on the market today is a '71 hemicuda- so I'll try to keep from getting real wordy and get to the point. A restored pedigree '71 hemicuda just sold for about $950,000 in Texas, convertibles are changing hands for $3-5 million. This one is on the edge of needing restored or just leave it alone and enjoy it as-is. If you would want to restore it, you couldn't find an easier one to do it to (2 build sheets). This car is a one owner since Christmas of 1974, It must have had a light hit on the right rear 1/4 panel as this panel was already replaced at that time and the short block was replaced with a warranty service unit by a Plymouth dealer in Arizona (the original block comes with the car) and the entire outside skin of the car was re-painted. OK- enough bad news - This cuda has never had ANY rust, period! The factory leather interior is all original and in excellent shape, the paint is what you ... read more @ 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda

text: The WAR FISH, my re-creation of the worlds most desirable, rare and powerful offering of the muscle car era; the 1971 Hemi Cuda. I decided that Mopars 'High Impact'-'Curious Yellow' would be the obvious choice and the PPG Global base coat/clear coat system nailed exactly what I was after when accented by the huge billboard decals. This is truly a professional build in every respect. Everything fits as it should. It drives like a new car. This endeavor spanned the course of the past eighteen months and is now ready for sale and transfer to its 1st owner since restoration completion last week. After an exhaustive search for the right candidate I located and acquired an unmolested almost rust free 318 powered 1971 barracuda from Colorado in remarkably good condition to begin with. I had already owned and completed building of the period 1967 426 hemi engine which produces an estimated 600+ HP on pump gas, mated with the remanufactured period 727 torqueflite transmission capable of the ... read more @ 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda recreation

text: This is one of the best 71 Cuda convertibles in existance. There were only 102 Cuda convertibles produced in 1971 with the 340-auto combo. This is a real ORANGE SEAT car! Only a hand full of Cuda convertibles came with orange seats code H6XV, this car is one of them. This is one of the best Cuda converts out there. This is a very original car with no excuses. It has full owner history documentation. The glove box still contains the original owners manual, Warrantee with original owners name , address and VIN for this car. All the original material that came in the glove box is still there like the fuel usage statement, Air temp card with return post card still attached, safety post card, Customer care brochure. The low mileage shows in a lot of ways. First in the clean original panel body and second In the original interior. No repro dash pad here. The original pad is perfect the rally gauges are excellent, The carpet has been replaced, the Bright orange seat covers are original ... read more @ 1971 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 340
